I did enjoy auditurd comparing a real Rs4 quarter mile time to a box quarter mile time (which we know is inaccurate especially concerning trap Speeds)…and the op believing him sadly.
When a b8 runs 11.8@117 on 93 on a warm Alabama night, it will be monumental…and we can say the cars are equal. but honestly…this is ridiculous positioning coming out of his mouth.
Fastest b8 pump gas cars are in the low 12s at 113 to 115…still a half a second behind the two Apr rs4 quarter mile times we have…both who ran pump gas in shitty da (Alabama for Apr and Detroit in the summer for the other car rocketman )
FYI… When Keith ran the 11.83 at 5:17pm the DA was between 850-900 feet which isn’t too bad actually… Not looking to argue the merits of either car just letting you know the DA wasn’t too bad… Also, remember they dumped the rear seat… Oh and yeah I also was amused by Auditudes comparison…
True not bad (to you in Ohio)…but not very good either. To me good da starts at 0 feet. Anything else is kind of annoying (I live near sea level in cold ass Canada so I am spoiled, as is auditurd on long island)
Don’t forget auditurds run that he was using to compare was -1500 or so.
Its absurd.
As I said when a B8 on pump gas at da 850-900 feet runs 11.83 I will start listening to auditurd.
LOL! No matter what the B8 runs… don’t listen to him… He is so slanted it’s actually comical… he posted a 6 second video if himself shifting to demonstrate his prowess… Not sure how Tsivas tolerates him… maybe he is much better in person, not sure…

even more amazing is all his talk about these cars and how much testing he does, yet no 1/4 mile passes… He took his dad’s car, what once? If he is such a good driver he should be able to make a few passes and run some good times… I bet with all the mods he keeps talking about putting on his car, he couldn’t break 12.4 Wanna bet a coke, Saki? LOL
the track he would go to is at great elevation, so everything is in his favour from that standpoint. However the MT6 guys always struggle.
What mods are we talking…clutch/test pipes/pulley/catback/GIAC II/intake/18" wheels?
12.40 is really the line…if we were in Vegas, that’s where they’d put it knowing it’s pretty much 50/50 factoring in human error etc…
In great DA, with good driving and a 1.8x 60’ time, he should hit 12.30-12.40 on pump gas at about 113, pretty comfortably. No superstar driving needed. On race gas, I don’t know. Not sure how much more is in it for the GIAC and REVO cars. I think APR leaves a lot of timing on the table but GIAC and REVO don’t (with their pump files). So the APR cars really beinefficientit from race, but GIAC not as much and REVO less so.
I mean lets look at the times from the guys who went last year to ATCO at the meet organized by jspazz from Toronto (that still makes me lol that a Toronto guy had to motivate everyone to get together). Who were the MT6 guys who went…and what did they run?
The other thing is, kryptonik is on here trying to organize a dragstrip day for NJ/NY guys. Tsivas knows about it…so auditude knows about it. I can pretty much guarantee he has some excuses lined up for not going.
Lol - I try and be friendly with everyone. Like Jspazz has said- Internet vs real life are two diff characters for a lot of us.
He’s a good kid. Just young and very competitive. I call him out in private and and have to give him reality check from time to time. He has been better. I only know him a year and half. Don’t know drama from the past. I avoid that stuff for most part.
Saki, Yeah basically the mods you mention are I believe what he has stated he is getting… Obviously, the launch and how good he can 60ft will be the whole thing right there… I’d say it’s about a 50/50 bet… lol As for the Atco day, I know Richi was there and I believe another 6-speed car but he grenaded his clutch right away… I’ll have to look at the Atco thread to know for sure…
Tsivas, Understood… I’m actually glad he is doing all this stuff with you and I probably would get along with him fine in person talking cars… The testing is great for the platform, it’s his know all attitude that stinks but I can relate to thinking I knew everything when I was in my early 20’s… lol He and parperplasticbag are two peas in a pod… I’ll keep my comments to myself about him going forward as I have probably been unfair…
I never understood the need for split personalities (internet vs real life). I guess the closest I come to a split personality is when I’m in the car freaking out at other drivers that are going to slow or cut into my lane vs similar scenarios walking on the street I’d probably say “excuse me” or if someone cut me off I’d say “no worries, go ahead” lol.
I will tell someone to go fuck yourself to their face if theyre out of line or full of shit or straight lying, just as quickly as I will do it here . The reality is people are a lot nicer in person when you are 6’5" 240 so I don’t need to do so the way I do online. Those are the real split personalities.
Believe it or not Saki you are actually quite a bit different in person. I wouldn’t say you have a split personality because as you say you will most likely call people out in person as well, but I think you do it in a more subdued way.
Or maybe you just lack the necessary punctuation to properly convey your tone on the forums. lol!
