I watched a vid of the 2013 regular shelby gt500 stock vs. a 2013 gtr stock in several roll races. I’m a big fan of the gtr’s incredible stock feats and their modified accomplishments. I like the new Fords and their accomplishments as well. I was impressed at how well the gt500 beat the gtr time and time again in roll races stock vs. stock. a great thing about the video I watched, the owner of the gtr also owns the gt500. He has his friend drive the gt500 first then they switched back and forth over and over again to make sure it wasn’t driver related. That 2013’ Ford is a beast. Adding 200HP to that seems insane and would crush with ease I’d have to assume the majority of cars out there.
They quite often underperform, those big Fords, because they just can not put the power down. Some launch control would be pretty valuable.
I just remember the 2-3 yera old GT500 making 500 hp and going 12.8 @ 113. Whats with that?
Anyway, the new ones seem pretty fucking angry.
I’m sure LC would help tremendously but that why they did roll races I’d assume instead of a dig race.
There must be some changes that we weren’t made aware of - other than that I don’t know why the 500HP versions were getting 12.8’s in the 1/4 and such mediocre trap speeds.
