Jay, Thanks man… My daily is a 2007 A4… My wife and I work downtown and it gets good mileage and I don’t worry about the idiots in parking garages like I would with one of my good cars… I should have kept my B5 and used it as a daily but I had dumped enough money into it and got a very fair price…

Not sure when and what I will buy… tons going on in life with my son, mom being sick and dad being in assisted living so kind of focused on family for now, along with work of course… Thank god for fun outlets like cars, basketball, surfing the web, etc. I’ll keep you posted on the track days… My brother and I plan to do Nelsons Ledges first which is a small local course, probably like the one you run at… We are also going to try and get out to Mid-Ohio and maybe Beaver Run… He is a very good driver and has been to a bunch of driving schools and such where I am a novice…

The runs were done on “pump” Sunoco GT260, which is 100 octane… It’s an APR 100 octane tune…

From a domestic standpoint yeah I am a Ford guy… always liked Mustangs growing up and I owned a few over the years… Never been a huge fan of vettes, I mean they are awesome cars and all but not for me… a good friend has a c6 with the Z51 package and it’s nice but I don’t like how it drives and wouldn’t own it… I do tend to be brand loyal… growing up my mom and dad always drove VW’s so I have always liked VAG products… I like BMW’s and MB’s but prefer Audi over them…

Your car was f’n flying btw! The 20-130 time compared to Revo stage 1 DSG is insane. 13.67s vs 14.83s for Revo is huge difference.

Just to shift the focus back to topic a little here, if you meant with this weather that nobody is going faster, it’s true. Did a bunch of passes last night in almost 30 degree weather, was stuck at 12.5, i did manage to do a couple 115 mph passes. It seems the heat soak kills the power until some cool air starts flowing in.
I couldn’t even get the tires to spin properly the way I like to going up to the tree.
Now you see why I am at home on summer nights lol
I was thinking about getting my old girl to the track but when I ventured outside it was so hot I decided to go back inside and just think about going to the track… My car was fast in my thoughts. So for now that’s good enough for me.
