I was contemplating buying a new wheel because I was sick of the shiningness, so I decided to give this a try.

Despite some controversy, a gentle application of magic eraser to your steering wheel does work and works great! Do not scrub, just light wipe and whipe off with microfiber cloth. I dont have a prior pic, but it was very shiny.

Also brought back the white stitching nicely

An annoyance of mine as well. I mist isopropyl alcohol onto a microfiber cloth and wipe down the wheel. It seems to do a good job breaking down the oils that cause the shine. No issues and the wheel looks great, 11 years running.
