That’s for a B5 S4, that matches up with the B6 A4? (just makin sure it’s the right link. Also, do ya think you could upload the videos to this site and then link them into the original post. I’m not sure why the youtube videos aren’t showing up (well they aren’t for me at least).
Yea there’s a similar deal that a lof of the B6/7 S4 guys have done that is the Magnaflow catback for ~$600-$650 shipped. For the price that is really hard to argue with.

Awesome price, and it sounds great from the clips too. Didn’t know there were other deals like this, we should keep a record of it though. These seem like they would be good to mate up with whatever we end up using for a solution for the stock cats.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this was looked into awhile ago and it was determined that they wouldn’t fit, they are too different from one another.
Sucks I know they are very different. from the flange to the configuration of the pipes are different. The Dp’s are going to be a big part of the performance formula.
Even tho I think 2.5 is too big its too hard to pass up. Great sound and lots of room for expansion
Sounds like mine did but a little bit quieter. You might be getting more dront from the 2.5" but it sounds good regardless. Downpipes would really tie everything together, then a JHM tune if it is ever released officially.
Why doesnt someone just go to an exhaust shop and have them fabricate some downpipes? It would be pretty easy on a 3.0 because there is a fair amount of room compared to the S4.
Great Idea. joe. Im going to contact a S4 member that has a exhaust shop and see if we can’t make him some money. I know he was talking about making a few sets of cheaper DP’s for the S4.

exactly! I’m sure CountVohn has way better hookups as far as getting somewhere to fab stuff up for us, but I’m going to poke around locally to see what’s available to me. I’m finding a lot of tuner friendly exhaust shops that seem to do pretty good work. There’s one shop that actually specializes in european cars and does amazing work, but they are rather pricey. I’m going to a couple shops and they will take a look to see what they think they can do.

this may have been mentioned already but wouldn’t it be a good idea to make the downpipes bolt up to b6/7 s4 cat-back exhaust systems since there are so many systems out there already?
ps brsox, that system sounds pretty good on your car and it looks good too. i don’t know why i’m surprised but whenever i think of magnaflow i just think of cheap systems with poor fitment… not the case for you it seems.

What ever is done to the 3.0 Dp’s it needs to mate up to the B6 available cat backs. IMHO

I think it’s great personally. Very OEM+, adds a nice touch of throatiness to the stock exhaust note.
