2014 Q5 I get this metal/metal sound after about a minute sitting idle. It goes away if I press on the accelerator. Sounds like it is coming from under the manifold. App. Will not let me upload a video.
On my s6 it was same, at idle start sound of metal to metal but when press accelerator it go away, but after it start making those noise on low revs driving. Torque Converter was broken
Oh Wow! That is the exact noise. Did you fix yourself or needed a shop to do it? Thank you, I could not find anything about this.
Mechanic replace it, gearbox need to go out
