I’m planning to flush my brake and clutch fluid soon and I saw that there’s a metal clutch line and master slave kit for the RS4. Is it worth installing them or should I just leave them if I have no issues? Is it labor intensive to swap them out? Thanks in advance.
There is no reason to swap that line. The hard line thing is just a waste of money.
It also isn’t a quick swap…
Leave them alone if you have no issues. I had them put in when I had my clutch done to see if it helped with the sticky clutch.
There wasn’t too much difference, and it doesn’t help with the sticky clutch.
Good to know one ore guy that didn’t see a difference. Each time I see this I see one reputable guy saying they tried it with no difference
yup, skip.
AZ will tell you it solves everything. Up to you to decide who you listen to. Will be interesting to see lol.
what about metal brake lines? are they worth it? i already bought them…
They are pretty easy and not too expensive, but probably unnecessary if you daily drive the car like most of us. If you have them I’d install them. It will give you a chance to inspect everything and change the fluid.
The RS4 already has a great breaking system lines included. Euroswagr put it best. Might as well swap em. And change your fluid you will see a possible small change from the fluid change.
As sakimano said. AZ is full of guys who want to think there poorly spent money was super justified. The only issue is they are just trying to justify it even when there is no change
