MRC twin supercharger Video

The kit is a TTS Performance kit developed for one of their customers (it is not danny). It has been in design and build for a few months. It has spent 50 hours on the dyno so far, with the runs being quicker, less load, than we like to run because the clutch (original) does not like being loaded too much. The runs are done in 5th on the dyno, so comparing to a time on the road doesnt mean anything yet.

Third gear I’m guessing?

Product looks pretty awesome guys. Can’t wait to see it get off the ground. Well… Figuratively not literally!

P. S. You should do a saved Google search and have Google email you whenever a hit for your search pops up. If I owned one of these businesses I would definitely want to know what’s being said about my company.

will there be continuing work on the rs4 kit as well or is it being left as is?

no the rs4 kit is staying as is. it is already the most powerfull rs4 kit on the market and tbh we put such effort into getting the best out of the available space the first time around I doubt we could get much more out of it anyway. the only real improvment that could be gained from those kits would be to run better fuel or to cool the charge with water meth ect. but for most people who have the kit 620+ps is plently for a road car

Would be nice to hear some information on your B8 S4 developments. The MRC stage 2 car absolutely boatraced the REVO car in that one video form GTI international.

x2. I recall reading a couple times about some impressive times from a mrc b8s4 but nothing after that.

At that event it ran 460ps ish on a pulley, extra pump, reservoir. It ran consistent times at that event the 2 days at 11.8. The other car without pulley, has slow gear changes, you can hear the fart noises instead of crisp changes. We only finished stage 2 with pulley at end of last year. So we will take it to 1/4 mile when it opens, as it is faster thAn that event now. You need to split this into another thread so it doesn’t clog up the r8 talk

Very nice!! The packaging looks great. Would a similar setup work on the V10 motor, or is the spacing too tight?

V10 is a real possibility. We just want to get the first couple v8’s done first so we can give them our full attention. After a long wait the clutch should finally be with us on Tuesday so we can actually get back on the dyno with full load.
More updates to come in the next couple weeks as the car is going back together with lots and lots of logging equipment attached so we can optimise the cooling and boost system.

The clutch is in but we have to but 800 miles on it according to the manufacturer before we can lean on it. At this time we have around 400, its difficult with all these weather changes, its quite a lively car

Pretty awesome project guys. Keep it up!

A couple of the other companies are making r8 kits right now too. It will be interesting to see how the twinfuge does.

It sounds like this project could be quite mindbending… keep us posted, very exciting stuff.

Couple photos from the dyno yesterday. Don’t think they need much explaining

Love the flames!

Pretty steady power climb.

Presume a trip to Santa Pod in the works once the tuning is all sorted?

That’s not power, that’s torque… And that’s insane.

If that’s 900 newton meters at 7500 rpm that’s 660 ft lbs of torque and 940 hp

Not sure why it’s showing so differently on the right.

Unless that is something else and there are two scales.

No saki its 712 ps & 687nm lol. I think that’s quite enough for the v8. This is running a very restricted 14psi. Kit can do 21-22psi derestricted but the engine would never take it in standard form.

Unfortunately there will be no santapodcwith this car as we loose it back to its polish owner in 2 days :frowning: wish we had more time but customer needs the car back as they have lots more other jobs to on it.

Is the r8 fuelling much different to rs4? Upgraded pumps? Stock injectors?

It’s mostly the Same fuel system. Runs our high pressure pumps but stock injectors and low presure system. Low pressure system copes a little better than the rs4 probably just due to shorter fuel line runs etc.
