I know you claim I am always negative…but #1 most people don’t have years to wait on a car, #2 multiple motors to build and attempt to tune, and #3 unlimited funds (or access to family funds) to blow on a tuner that doesn’t have such a great track record.

Is it just me…or didn’t Reid blow up four engines in pursuit of that timeslip? I reckon VAST can eat shit on 2 of those, but 2 more were on AMD/EPL. So there’s that.
He must be in over $100,000. When I visited VAST a few years ago (Feb 2010) there was a yellow avant in the shop in pieces that Prince wanted to cry about when I asked him about the car.
The AMD RS4 kits also did well at the strip. They are also running an ignorant amount of boost to do so. In case you haven’t noticed, the guys who actually OWN an RS4 (JHM) are running near half the boost. My money is on their way of going about making power. 14-15 PSI of Boost + RS4 is going to make for an interesting storyline.

Haha I will. Kurt has the car so neutered it’s more enjoyable to drive my 170,000 mile jeep right now lol. Not really but with all the fueling issues he did it for a reason. Hopefully have this thing ripping by Friday. I might pic up a mic for my gopro for the track Friday that I can put near the exhaust

Well, the good news is the car is a lot faster. The bad news is the car won’t be ready for the track this year. We converted to e85 and it absolutely rips! A totally different animal. We have seen 2.1 fats with heavier wheels on the car so far and just getting started.
Have a lot of little stuff to do to the car this winter and I’ll be shooting for that world record in the spring.

Have some stuttering up top in 3rd and 4th. I went to the track last week and didn’t finish a single pass due to the throttle body closing. Need a catch can, new dvs, etc. track closes next weekend and I’ll be out of town that weekend anyways. Id love to push for it but Id rather play it safe
