Been on here a while and never done a build thread so thought I’d do one. Ill try get as much in as possible but ill mostly copy and paste from another forum
its quite an iconic car in the uk and unfortunately its only going through this transformation because I blew the car up at vmax almost two years ago now. On the last build the car made just shy of 700hp and 625 pounds ft of torque, it was built purely for track events so was stripped to within an inch of its life. This time out it will be a weekend toy and possible show queen
So plans are as follows:
Body: Greg Howell wb conversion with c6 rs6 rear bumper with twin exhaust exit and loba cf hood.Front end will be reinstalled so dash centre console with sat nav etc, dash with be alcantara same as head lining and a new thin carpet installed aiming for the gt3 rs style with maybe a little more comfort.Colour is Porsche gt3 rs Grey
Wheels and tyres: team dynamics pro race 1.2’s wrapped in r888’s
Engine : full LOBA 3L 750+ turbos stage 3 heads oversized valves etc
Brakes : AP racing kit all round
Suspension: ohlins remote reservoir coil overs
As it stands just now LOBA has my engine and The wb conversion is finished. The car recently had a complete over haul so every single nut and bolt on the chassis is brand new, I also upgraded any part where an upgrade was possible and was beneficial to the cars performance.
