My friend's 2007 S6 V10

well the good thing for JHM is that they are well capitalized, and they also have a car dealer’s license. So they can buy broken cars at auction for peanuts, fix them, test fit products on them, and then sell a fixed and modified car and get their capital back.

If I were a tuner, I would really look into this because trying to get a customer to donate a car for 6 months is a pretty big ask.

Q7? is there even a market for tuning that? Soccer moms drove those around here. I would be surprised if they get into the V10 at all as well

Q7 is a 4.2 fsi - how different is the ecu vs the S5 and RS4?

Not much I would say. Same motor.

So I’m guessing it would be pretty easy for CV to do a nice tune for the q7.

We had a company S6 V10 a couple years back. I think it was sold in 2010 after we had it for 2 or 3 years. The tune alone made decent power. Iirc it would get hot quickly and the fans were nearly on full blast every time you started the car (at least down here in the south). I never did like the tiptronic though.

You guys should really develop a tiptronic tune for more revs and faster shifts. My car is always available

Hey Joe!

Did you ever do a DIY writeup for the v10 carbon clean?
