Good friend of mine got this car about 2 years ago. he’s not that into cars so you won’t see him posting a thread, but I sure as hell will.
First mod it got was an exhaust. I don’t have any pics of when it got done unfortunately. The entire catback was replace with just 2.5" piping and 2 Magnaflow mufflers. The tips are 3.5" each. Exhaust was made by trexturk.
About a week after that, I detailed it. No before pictures but let me tell ya…this thing was in sad shape. The rear bumper, front bumper, left rear door, and almost the entire passenger side has been re-sprayed. Th left rear door was done by a complete hack, there is bubbles, sanding marks, the works, and I couldn’t really bring it back to life. The rest of the stuff that had been painted was actually pretty good, just some sanding marks in the areas that the bodyman was too lazy to polish.
here are some post-correction pics. No wax/sealant in these pics because it was dark by the time I finished.

Interior wasn’t bad. Leather Masters for the seats, Adams carpet cleaner on the carpet, Einszeit Cockpit Premium on pretty much everything else

Fast forward about a year…He tells me he’s getting a flashing CEL. The car is still under warranty so he takes it to the dealer and they tell him it’s carbon. Dealer wants $2400 to do the service. I told him I’ll do it and make a DIY for the Audi guys (in the works).
So I ordered all the necessary gaskets from JHM. Ordered 2 K&N drop-in air filters as well. Also replaced the spark plugs with OEM NGK’s

Video time?
Here is a cold start before the carbon cleaning. To be honest it doesnt really sound much different after the carbon cleaning. Just a little more smooth and the starts are shorter.
And yes…cold starts sound that badass and they are always that loud

Here is a 0-60 after the cleaning. About 5 second for the first few runs…then it gets heatsoaked and gets slow

Here is a video I made yesterday. About 1000 miles since the cleaning has been done.

That is all for now. Next up is a JHM tune and maybe, just maybe, gutted cats and a 3" x-piped catback
