My next car in 5 years?

I love my current car but let’s be frank, at some point, I’m probably going to have to replace it.
Secondly, I don’t like buying new cars as I find it’s not good value. 3 to 5 year old cars is my preferred range.

Which means, I like to look at what’s coming out today to get an idea of what I might look at in 4-5 years time.

I’d like to stick to a high performance luxury AWD wagon and, assuming I’m still living in North America, I don’t see many choices.

Any other options other than the one below that you guys can think off? And heck, these cars are so damn rare that if it took me 3 years to find my current Audi, how many years for me to find something like this (and in that colour).

that’s the only possible one. And it’s awesome.

There was a matte grey one driving beside me last weekend. I loved it. E63 AMG S AWD

damn sick car, and price tag to match lol.

I literally choked on my food when I saw that price. how do AMG’s hold their value?

Like a lead ballon. I bought my S55 3 years after it was brand new, car was $140k + tax, I paid $22k with 25,000 miles. I did buy it when the market collapsed.

OK, I’m putting my name in now… make sure you give me first offer on the B7 when you decide to sell. I have always loved your car.

Jeezus!

Those prices are ridiculous…07/08 rs4 still fetching ~$40k

This is a classy car. but are you really gonna switch you car?

Who knows. Anything can happen in 5 years lol

poorly, like any car

that thing will be $60,000 in 4 years

the pricing is Canadian remember…it’s about 10% higher than US market pricing (even though our currency is 20% weaker) and then on top of that is the tax (13% on cars) so that $143,000 is likely only $110,000 in the US.

The $143,000 would be about $126,000 CDN+tax and pricing will halve in 4 years/

I hope it’s $60k in 4 years lol.

Anyway, I also priced it out that same day on the US website and it came out to $128k USD.
