MY S6 YOUTUBE VIDEO REVIEW.

So my coworker did a review on my car

Cool video, but what was that horrible noise at the beginning and end?

I thought the samething I almost stopped watching.

Pat the car sounds great. Great idea for a review. Im sure your coworker is nice but the review was tough to watch coming from a technical stand point. I didnt actually make it all the way though the video. He seems nice but maybe dosent know car terms all that much and Im usually a big stickler for no ommm and other filler responses when trying to keep peoples attention and talk about things.

The car kept more of my interest. Great job

i sold it :frowning:

Jesus…when?

lol

yesterday

Did the tire wear stickers help the sale?

Sounded great! What’s next?

decided to keep it, anyone know an aftermarket warranty that will cover the s6

I’m so confused… so, over the course of 24 hours, you had your coworker (rather than you, the guy who is actually familiar with it) make a 10 minute video review of the S6 for youtube, mostly repeating things he seems to have read from Edmonds.com, then you sold it to someone, then canceled the sale, and now you’re looking for a warranty long after you first bought it?

Anyways, there are a few companies that will do it (someone here can point you in the direction, I’m sure), but it’s EXPENSIVE. I decided not to get a warranty when I bought mine, because the best option available was $5000 for a 20k mile warranty. I’ve now pass 20k miles since I bought it, and the only thing that the warranty would’ve helped me with was my high-pressure fuel pumps, which I replaced myself for like $700. So I saved $4300, and also didn’t have to deal with the hassle of trying to get a warranty company to pay for it. Lots of reports of people’s warranty company’s not covering the bulk of maintenance issues, for a variety of excuses.

let me clarify something for you, that video was made a while ago and only just recently uploaded. he does reviews on his youtube channel and I “let” him do a review on it because he asked if he could, i dont do video reviews.

the potential seller and i made an agreement for the sale however i didnt like the way he was acting towards the process of the sale so i backed out. i prefer not to discuss here, i was in no rush to sell. so ever since my horrible experience with dealing with this guy to do the sale i have decided to hold onto it hence looking for a warranty, i called a few places which all said my car didnt qualify because of the motor.

Fidelity does but as OP mentioned it will be min 4500-5000. It may be worth it if you have lower miles and it covers for 5 yr 50k more miles.

I bought mine from a vw dealership…cannot remember the name but it paid out about 8k over 2.5 years of ownership with no hassle. I’ll post the name if I can find any records.

Its cool to hear you decided to keep it.

As for the warranty. If you have under 100k there should be a long list of possibilitys. I keep getting stuff in the mail for warranty on my car. Ill see if I can find the paper work. Ill post up the names of the companys I got mail from

I had Fidelity… i got it when i was at 80k… they covered all of a new engine and transmission Sans 3k for random stuff…

Fidelity did right by me… although after that they cancelled it. lol

I have heard good things about fidelity
