Hey everyone I am needing a Battery in my S4 and I am wondering who I should go with, that fits… Always have had good luck with optima red and yellow tops…what do you suggest with part numbers please
I also have been thinking about relocating the battery in the back of the avant are there any kits for that?

Someone got one at WalMart real cheap once. Not sure if they’re still there.
I did, I know a few others did as well. Just gotta make some sort of bracket to hold the battery in place.

You should. I like your batt. Its light enough to pick up. Who put that dam china alarm in your car… Me and CV looked like fools with your horn honking like mad last night. (it was a ground wire on the dis block.)
Tracked down a few electrical bugs pulled some wires out of the way. rewired a few things.
As a hardcore 4.2 fan the quote of year. Came from last night.

Solid car tho. Just a lot of little bugs. some stuff was damaged when the exhaust got made (or so it looks but we fixed) wires under the dash were frayed. The body control modal had water damage (old). The wires that were arching on the dis block really looked like they did some damage. We got in there and pulled the block out and cleaned it up moved wires and adressed all the little issues.
It was just funny. The car seemly out of no where would just start blazing the horn full blast. When we tracked down all the little stuff it looks like it made for one big thing.
Looks solid now. .We tested just about ever run of wire so it should all be ok now. shotty wiring on some stuff tho. Who worked on the car in the past. When they put the motor in they didn’t put one of the ground straps on it was also just kinda grounding out.
Lefty Chang is the one who did the work before, not pleased at all with his work, very hack…in fact when I got it back here and pulled off the cover at the firewall found a set of safty glasses and a wrench there. Yikes. Anyway I want to make the car like new!!! Eventually I want to restore the car and make it a widebody with a 3L stroker with nitrous and bigger hairdryers. Not for a while though! I really do owe you and I am very excited about the car and I think she is soild as well! The compression check was great 167 the lowest and 183 the highest, brand new trans the stage 3 has 2500 miles on the whole thing except the jhm stuff that has about 17 miles on it. I am pumped for the tune and i am going to need to replace the clutch and put the really good performing spacers between the intake manifold and heads ASAP!
Justin, was my wiring for the AFR alright? First time I’ve done that AFR.
