Need Help, Car wont idle after install

Installed, JHM aux radiator delete, 034 MAF boot, JHM intake manifold and spacers and car cranks up, then tries to ide (very very rough). If I give it gas it will rev but second I take foot off the car dies. Is there something I missed with the aux radiator and oil cooler (I have a feeling that is fine) or did I miss something with the intake manifold install.

The TB was cracked (if you check my previous thread- black electrical housing) from previous owner. He said he ran it like that zero issues. I also had to swap actuators because the one on the JHM intake was broken. Shouldn’t be the Maf Boot seemed straight forward. I did switch out plastic piece and made one out of copper because we broke it. Eager for suggestions because I have to move it out of someones garage asap.

Do you have a VAGCOM? Try scanning it to see what it says.

Most likely a bad vacuum leak somewhere. Check the lines that run down the sides of the manifold.

Also I’ve heard of people having issues if they don’t replace the throttle body gasket, but I re-used mine and it was fine.

Definitely sounds vacuum related to me.

Put the key in turn it forward but don’t start the car. Do this with the hood popped. Listen and you should hear the throttle body clicking then a high pitched noise as the throttle body adapts. After that start the car. If the car still runs then stops pull the MAF connection and try again. This time the car should start and run. If the car starts and runs with the MAF unplugged get some starter fluid in a spray can and spray generously around the base of the intake and cylinder heads. Then around all the other spots after the MAF that you worked on. Try that and report back.

Ok, so this was after working on the car from 6:30pm to 1:30am. I wrote this message when I woke up today. I had volleyball games to coach but my buddy went and checked it out while I was coaching.

So while checking it out he said the Runners were stuck and got them working correctly. Says now its running fine. Now I gotta figure out how to get to the car. Appreciate all the quick feedback.
