Yiss another S6!!! Soon we are gonna own this place! Check out the projects and pick up a set of headers. Lol

Thanks for the welcome. No warranty. She will not be my daily driver so I am not going to bother with an aftermarket warranty either.

I post some pics soon.

A few quick pics from the shop and at home walking in the door. I will post better ones when I get time in the profile section.

Great looking car!

I am pretty sure those wheels are forged. Next time you have one off, throw it on a scale if you have one around. I always wondered what they weigh. And if you give me the total wheel weight, along with the make and model and size of the tire, I can figure out a rough weight of the wheel from that info.

Looks like you have resonator delete. Nice! And they didnt bother with a X-pipe. Not a huge loss, as the factory H-pipe looking piece is really only a connecting bar, we discovered.

Lowered too. I dont know who makes yellow springs. Are they H&Rs? And those shocks dont look factory either. Though, I am not sure if they are an upgrade, or just a generic replacement. I could be wrong too, and maybe they are OEM, but I think my OEMs were black.

No warranty is the way to go. Why pay thousands to ‘tha man’ when you can use that money on mods.

Those wheels! Congrats those are the first wheels I have seen yet that I like better than the stockers!

KW suspension I believe. The KM adjustment tool kit was in the trunk when I got her.

KW coilovers, nice! Now the yellow springs make sense

Actually, you’re gonna like this… The only KW application I can find for the S6 are the v3s. You likely have a set of $3100 coilovers on there!

Love it such a beautiful car. Silver looks nice.

Free exhaust mod. I don’t know if I Would rather have a completely untouched car or not. I think a virgin car might make me feel better.

^I am in agreement. Tho it would be so awesome to have all those mods for free!!

I do not disagree with this. Not my daily driver so I was ok with the mods when purchasing. If it was a daily driver, I wouldn’t have even looked at the car. Hell, I wouldn’t even have looked at a S6 V10.

Of course there were concerns prior to purchase, its a 7 year old car. I do not want to write a long ass post about my mindset and why I bought the car. To sum it up, engine was carbon cleaned and serviced by people I am familiar with prior to purchase. Anything not related to complete engine failure I am confident I can pay out of pocket hence no warranty. If it becomes a headache, I have no problem writing it off as a loss and move on to something else.

Its a local car. I am sure I can track down the shop who did the suspension and exhaust work if need be. S6 V10s do not grow on trees, which really I love about it.

Even though I mod pretty much all my cars, usually, when I buy a car I look for ones that have been generally left stock. In the case of your S6, I would buy that one in a second, if I was in the market.

The first mod I did to my S6 when I got it, was to install H&R coilovers, which cost me close to $2k with labor. If the guy purchased those KW v3 new, then it would have been almost double that. So, you can consider that thousands saved.

The stock wheels look great, but are boat anchors. Those wheels you have are OEM and forged. So, another upgrade. If you dont like them, you can sell them for more than you would have got for the stock ones.

And the res delete is another good mod, IMHO. With the current v10 S6 aftermarket exhaust offerings, the res delete makes a lot of sense to me, if all you want is increased sound. Perfect low-cost mod, until a better exhaust hits the market (coming soon)

Painted calipers look fine, and Im on the fence regarding the rear light tinting. Anyway, an easy mod to reverse if you dont like it.

The car looks well taken care of, and the fact that it has a recent carbon clean supports that. The guys dropping $3k on coilovers usually have money to keep their car well maintained.
