New guy with a 3.0 A6

I have been browsing this site for a little while now, and realized I never signed up. I bought an 03 A6 3.0 Polar White back in January, while I was working on my 98 A4. I love the body style of the car, and just how comfortable it is on the inside. Im hoping to get more information and help on this site for the 3.0 than I am getting from Vortex or Audizine. This is the only site Ive seen where the 3.0 is becoming a popular subject. Here is how my A6 sits now. I plan on getting coilovers, 19’s and doing something exhaust wise to wake it up some.

Welcome! I’m relatively new to this forum myself. My power plant is the 2.7T so I’m generally on the B5S4 forums. From what I see the 3 liter car discussions on AR are bored out/stroked 2.7’s or the new supercharged version from the B8. I’ll be honest I don’t know anything about the 3 liter in the C5, but maybe someone here will. Cheers!

Welcome to the site! I will not claim to be any sort of expert on 3.0’s and certainly not in C5’s. But that is a good looking car!

Nice a6 and very jealous of the colour…this is the place to be for the 3.0…head over to the a4 section, its a bit quite regarding ohr motor but shouldnt be soon.

Thanks guys. Yea the A4 section is really flowing with the 3.0. Sometime down the road, Id like to get the JHM tune for ecu and tcu, but I dont know when that will be. Ive been trying to figured out what I want to do exhaust wise, remove the cats, aftermarket resonator and mufflers, and some bigger tips to fill in the gap of the rear valance. Finding the right sound and hardware is the hard part.
