Good stuff. Did I ever work on any of your dads cars at W2W? I think I remember you.
I think a lot of people are going to look to you for your honest inturptation of what is good and not good. We know you have more then one S4 and your building them both up.
I think you have gotten a bad rap not because of who you are but for who you have stuck up for in the past. Your E friends with a few people that have a shit reputation for how they act and for not knowing what there talkin gabout and there best tactic is to insult aposed to educate. I realize they can’t enducate when they don’t know so that will be left alone.
Still its cool to have you here. You have to obviously be cool you have thick skin and take what has been said all in stride. That tehere shows alot
Yes! Hunter’s stuff too. We we’re customers of Jory’s. I had the sierra Denali with the 112 maggie that you guys tuned and installed. I had the crappy trailblazer Torque converter but it was a fun truck. I think I ran a 13.6 in it with some tire slip. I can’t remember what else you guys would have worked on. Hunter is good friends with billy Briggs and Rich. Thank you for your kind words. I hope I can bring some good stuf to the forum. I kinda like it here, as hostile as its been.
me and jory were super close till they let him go. Denny and the crew really ran the place. I remember tuning and building several competition cars and I do think I remember doing the mag on the denalli. You guys were always very nice. I think I Talked to your dad for like 5 hours one day when I Was working.
It was just after someone leaked the proto type GM motor we were working on with GM. The guys wouldn’t let him take his camera out and it was a big how do you do.
The good thing here is we know eachother by extension. I don’t want to brag but I know more then 90% of these wanta bee Audi shops. Im not saying I know audis better then everyone cause I don’t.
I remember I met countvon when we couldn’t tune a forgen car and he came in and kicked the piss out of my tune by like 40whp. Im happy to say when Im wrong still Im happy to say when IM right. Sometimes people don’t like to hear that IM right… I guess thats how it goes.
I think the gun fire for you will die… Your attitude is what has gained and what will get you respect. Its clear from what some members have wrote that your a respected guy. Look forward to seeing how your car turns out.
Nice to have another S4 member here. For those of us that don’t jknow you can you post up a few pics of your car and let us know a little about it and you. Ive read some stuff on Azoo but not sure what is what
great ive seen a few pix but I would love to hear and see more. I know your one car has had like several different combanation of parts on it if I remember correctly.
Here is a quick run down on both cars. I will provide links to build threads and a few other threads concerning my car.
I came into the B5 community 4 years ago. I bought an APR stage 3 Imola Avant. I took it to VAST performance as my brother had a personal relationship with mike@VAST and Kurt. After having the car looked at and looking at what was new and cool. I decided to go with RS6 turbos and Rods. The engine was built, the car was delivered about 6 months later. I broke the car in well (new rings on the stock pistons) I had the car repainted and an RS4 front bumper put on.
Here’s what it ended up looking like:
Alright, now the silver car. So I picked it up for a steal, a local guy needed out because he just signed a lease for a mustang GT. I’ve had it for just over two years.
So I blew the engine a week later to find out I had new headgaskets put on warped heads. Coolant was getting into the cylinders and boom when the dynomite.
Then I had my brother and another DET shop talk me into going with a 3.0L on my silver car. I sold my turbos and bought 605s.
I got the car running last spring (oil issues still) but here is a thread talking about that.
Great to have you. Ive heard great things about you and your brother this weekend when I was with count von working on that RS4. He said you were quite handy with the 2.7T good cause I hate working on those cars. LOL
great stuff man your clearly a gear head excited to see your car back up and running. I have a automatic car on spray with headers. Maybe Ill give you a ride and see if we can’t get you out of the B5 and into a hoodlums car or better yet a gentlemanly car
that’s because you’re a 2.7T guy. Ignorance is bliss.
that’s like saying ‘all 2.7T are the same to me’. Thus a k03 2.7T = Tial 770 2.7T. Same thing.
Actually…come to think of it…it is kinda the same thing. The K03 S4 record 1/4 mile time is 12.2 and wouldn’t you know it…the 770 S4 1/4 mile record is also 12.2!
