NEW Intake Manifold Pricing

So I am about to pull the trigger on the new IM, ugh. So, I am looking at this:
https://www.audipartssupply.com/oem-parts/audi-intake-manifold-07l133185m

Seems to be the deepest price, $1694 + $108 shipping = $1,802

Dealer gave me their final offer of 1771 + tax = $1,903

So being 100 bucks does make or break deals, what do you guys think? Dealer has always been hella cool with me, for warranty purposes maybe better to buy from them? Maybe get a “newer version” IM?

Anyone bought from this audipartssupply.com?

Want to buy before I change my mind haha

Audi Parts Haus

I would order from JHM and spend the few extra dollars.

Other parts houses that have held intake manifolds for a while have the old style intake. You would have to ask them the date built before you buy.

The thing that sucks is that we know there were intake updates but the part number didn’t change it was just diferent by build date. If you get an older intake your just going to have the same issues. And in general parts houses generally are trying to sell off old stock. JHM is said to not take in old stock and will only ship parts made after the update date.

The few dollars extra at JHM is worth it so you don’t have to spend 1800$ twice.

I ended up getting a dealership one for 1,771 out the door, will be here in a week. I liked this price.

Yes, I figured the same about part houses holding parts. He said he needed to order it from Sac and was not able to pick out a build date / was not able to request a “new” one, I did ask, I always do, especially with tires.

If I could buy from JHM I would. I am still awaiting my tune and and the whole other list of items to be sent to me. Have been waiting… If I dont get my JHM parts I will just carbon clean and put this new IM on, for the sake of the engine I can not wait any longer in fear of the broken IM and carbon doing damage.

I bought from my local dealer as well. I’m in Canada, and the price was the same as JHMs.

I got the latest revision from the dealer, and I’d suspect you will as well. My manifold had to come from the US as well.

Slowly collecting parts but am pleased that the old IM is off, I looked inside and it was busted af. Probably just gonna heave it though the tumbler flaps are still in good condition just the change over flaps are all messed up.

JHM sent me all the mod parts they offer for the S6 less the LW crank wheel. Quite pleased with the quality of the spacers and cant wait to put them in.

Got the new IM, heater and sai bypass, Hitachi injectors, figure 8 o-ring for the oil leak, cam seals, another set of IM gaskets, IM Intake gasket, walnut blaster, serp belt, rear lid for the drivers headlight so it does not condensate anymore, plus 10 other items I am likely forgetting. Hoping to carbon clean today and build by the end of the week.

Looking to see if my machine shop can send me SAI blockoffs at the crank so I can heave the kombi valves…

I think JHM has SAI block offs…

When you put in the intake spacers don’t forget to take off the motor lift brackets if you don’t youll end up getting a code for the arm not being able to move all the way.

Yes, I was confusing my brain with the something different. Yes I have the JH blockoffs and was able to successfully install them, remove the kombis, pump, M14 tripple square bolts bolting on the sai tubes, sai intake filter, and sai solenoid. All gone. Removed the heater system on the intake also. Gettin there

You are getting there. Lots of work
