Nowadays with Audis surge to the fore of ‘cool’ he has turned his attention to kicking at Audi drivers. It started with the RS4 not long after that vs. segment with the M3/C63/RS4. Talking about how M3 owners have all sold their M3s and bought RS4s.

Depends on the fuel. Emmisions states put so much crap in the fuel that they stink even with cats… get a jhm tune and it should run cleaner. I kmkw my car ran cleaner with the jhm tune…most states and places you should be goods and on average I don’t think most people have issues with stinky catless exhausts
I thought that they wouldn’t be a problem on a decent running car with a decent tune. I’ve only really heard from shops (who make more money if you get a catted exhaust) and hippies that catless is bad.
Shops tree huggers and deadbeat hippies know only how to complain about stuff… 2004 and up audis have a very accurate wideband 02 system. They are super accurate at keeping the fuel dslivered properly so there is no extra fuel wasted… you still need a good tune like jhm to keep emmisions down and has a solid clean fuel curve…

Corporate Autoworks; another unit in my complex. Pretty handy for not-too-big-a-deal stuff. Drop the car off, walk back to office 2 mins.
I originally thought installing the full exhaust was the nightmare job, then I realized that’s the test pipes.

yeah, the test pipes is a bit of work on the B8 chassis, but not that bad.
for those guys it’s like mowing a big yard vs. mowing a small yard. They’re working anyway, and they’re paid by the size of the job so it’s just all in a day’s work
