So today is a good day. Although wednesday will be better as I’ll have them fitted. But new downpipes arrived today.

It’s done the downpipes are on. Don’t tell much difference when just stood still but my god what a difference when driving. Hard to explain the sound but yh much better and very happy.
How did the install go?
So a garage installed it for me as needed a new tyre as got a screw in mine. New tyre and exhaust done within 2hrs. They said was no problem at all. One bolt that’s abit awkward to reach.
I had been told the RS4 is abit easier to access than the RS5 though. Not sure how true that is. But yes no problems at all.

I wouldnt say it sounds deeper I’d say it just sounds extra raspy and racey now. More a whooey sound haha
If you’re interested in a little more noise while not spending another grand, get the ECS midpipe. Install isn’t that bad and the sound is another huge improvement. It’s not as refined as I would like but that will come later.
