the NGK are stock like, with 3 ground prongs.
Densos look more traditional.
50$ difference between a full set.
Anyone use the Denso or a similar single tip plug in their v10s?
I decided to not be cheap and get the NGk 3 electrode ground unit.
Reason is a direct injected engine requires high tumble to properly mix the fuel. such high tumble may cause the spark to arc out and possibly even blow out or cause a small kernel with a single strap, unless it is properly indexed. new audis and bmws used indexed ground electrodes relative to the body threads so that all of them end up in the same location, with the single ground strap shielding the spark gap from the fuel spray.
the 3 strap unit will also effectively shield the spark kernel. $45 extra bucks.
