;D

Sounds awesome!

Some people… 1 dislike? I wish we got these cars in North America. :’(

Hater

YES! Haha

bitches

while I’m not a fan of the front bumper at all and think the rs5/6 style front bumper would have suited it far better. the wide body work looks pretty damn good, much more aggressive than the rs5 and much more like the rs6. i know ill be able to make those fenders work on my car somehow lol

yeah, that lower front bumper is damn weird.

I quite like the refreshed cars, but not so sure i like how a3/a4/a5/a6 all look idential.

yea agreed, the new a6 takes the cake though and pulls that look off the best of em all.

it’s SO much nicer (A6) than before. Should have been on Extreme Makeover!

I can’t wait for the S6. Not that I’m in the market for a 194 inch long car (my B7 is 181" long and the B8 is 186" long for perspective) , but it seems like a really cool car.

hopefully the new rs4 bumper isn’t their new direction seeing as the rs6 and rs7 are due out next in the rs lineup

wonder what will power those cars. I know you guys would vouch for the 3.0T as it can do no wrong, but just wondering…maybe a beefed up version of the 4.0T.

Seeing as the 4.0T is putting down over 500hp in the S8 I would think that it would be something of that nature.

Looking at what other engines are out there in the VAG lineup there is nothing really out there that is coming down the pipeline. Other option would be that they stick with the V10TFSI in the RS6/7 much like them sticking with an updated version of the 4.2FSI in the RS4. The only other exotic type engine that is newer in the Audi/VAG fleet is the V12 found in the Aventador and I am highly doubtful that the marquee lamborghini engine will be finding it’s way into a 4 door any time soon. (I also don’t think it would fit)

would be the first time that’s ever happened. (RS car using a regular engine)

didn’t the B5 RS4 just have beefed up turbos?

With the way the turbo’s are mounted on the 4.0T I think there wouldn’t be much space to pop a larger setup in there.

I would love a car with the 4.0T but aside from normal bolt on upgrades I can’t see any sort of turbo upgrades every being available unless they were just to modify the internals.

tight fit…

B5 RS4 had bigger turbos & intercoolers, different head casting, cams, inlet pipes, throttle body and intake manifold iirc. Its a very beefed up 2.7T.

figured as much… very similar changes (although not as extensive) with the 2.0T (200hp) and the 2.0T (250hp).

cosworth blessed the B5 RS4 motor though lol
