No connection to HPFP

I am getting a code now after replacing the hpfp on the passenger side and also the electrical connector cause the tab was broken, I am getting a no connection code. Is there any harness connection between the hpfp and ecu? And if not what else should I be looking for. I switched the hpfps around to see if the code would switch banks and it did not which leads me to believe it is somewhere within the wiring.

This might have been your issue all along. Can you check the connector for voltage

Well I definitely needed the hpfp cause fuel was spraying out of the cracked pressure regulator but I did find that fuse 5 in the engine bay fuse box was blown. Saw it threw engine mount code for no connection and maf no connection codes. I’ll know if fuse 5 is all it was here shortly though. Heading to buy a new fuse now

That was going to be my next thing to check

That isn’t the easiest fuse box to get to park on a decently busy street with a foot of snow around my car and 10 degree weather lol

That fuse was blown. Started right up and idled really bad but once it was warm it ran like a champ and all last night and today has idled good and ran good.

Saw your post cause I recently replaced my right HPFP—slight leak from the elec connector side and occasional lean fuel codes.

I’ve also been getting a left engine mount code forever, along with a bank 2 cam solenoid code that I suspect is in the harness. I tested the cam solenoid with a 12V source and it seems to be working fine. But I finally got a long T20 so I’m gonna replace it anyways this weekend.

P1573 - Left Eng. Mount Solenoid Valve, Open circuit

P0023 - “B” Camshaft Position - Actuator Circuit/Open Bank 2

Did you get anything like that?

And are the engine compartment fuses in the same compartment as the power relays? Can you access them without removing the wipers and wiper cover?

I was getting no connection codes for maf sensor, engine mount, evap, and fuel pump. And yes it is the box on the driver side with relays I did access them without removing the wipers or cover, however I wouldn’t recommend this as it is not easy to get the cover off and out. There is 2 little screws toward the center of the cover that help a little bit but it will be frustrating to get it out and 2x worse getting the cover back on.
