The 2013 GTR’s performance out of the box is insane. Will always be “enough” for me and quite frankly I will never be at a level that I can use all of it on a track. BUT - who doesn’t like a little more “go” than the next guy?
Intake/tune/exhaust. I’m ok with on a “supercar.” JMO. I would also be ok with adding LW wheels and tires.
he seems to be saying ‘can it really get much better?’…rather than launching an attack at you. Note he never named you or directed any of it at you. he was just saying they’re so competent stock that it would seem weird to mess with what appears to be a nearly perfect car.

How about this:
-The car out of the box is massively impressive.
-Is there really any “need” to improve upon the performance? No probably not. Unless you are racing at a -competetive level.
-Do I agree some cars are best left as is? Yes
-I do also feel that AMS in particular is a solid company with reliable, safe modifications at the earlier stages of modification. IE; Alpha 6 for example. A package along those lines is acceptable to me. There really is a noticeable improvment over stock and the ride quality and over all reliability remains the same as stock. To me that’s the perfect combo.

P.S. In my dream GTR build it’s an Alpha 9 with a 4.4L built engine and a stage 3 shep trans. That should get me 820-850WHP (easy) and same TQ on 94 octane and an additional 100 WHP/WTQ on 104 but provide massive TQ downlow where, in my opinion, even the stock GTR could use some work. Now if you want something that is more all-round performance (dragstrip, track, etc.) that would be a Switzer USE (though I’d be a bit concered about the turbo spool characteristics)

Their performance is staggering to say the least, and the 2013 models really upped the ante, but I was very shocked how cramped the interior felt for how massive the car is. When you see it parked next to other cars (say the B7 S4, and realize it’s only a coupe, you’d think the interoir wild be pretty spacious. But Saki would certainly have a hard time living with it and I might not even be able to do it as a DD.
