Guys, where is the PCV valve on the B6/B7 S4? Is it under the cover where you would do the heater elbow by-pass? I have no reason to suspect mine is gummed up, just curious in case the time comes to check or replace it.

Never a dumb question. Yet you have one and im sure someone will post a picture for you. Ill try to find something to help but I have a S5 so Im not sure how much a picture of mine will help.

It’s the black, plastic, flat/pancake looking thing behind the intake manifold. Here’s a pic from the rear of the motor.

Thanks for the pic too. Easy to get at with a motor pull…hope I don’t need to do that anytime soon (timing chain guides…doooh). Assume it can be done without doing so though.
