Planning on having the pre-cats gutted in a few hours here. Anybody know where I can purchase the oxygen sensor extension so as to get rid of the CEL? Local (chicago) would be great but anywhere for sale on the internet would be a huge help as well. Thanks in advance!
Not sure where you could find them in chicago. Trexturk has an exhaust shop he could probably help you. Ive been told his is good and from what I know he is in your area.
JHM has them but on the B7 S4 spacers don’t work that well. Obviously the JHM tune will fix it.
agreed with shawn, the spacers are only a temporary fix. i had the spacers on my car and after about 2-300 miles the cel would go back on. once i did the jhm tune, it cleared everything and even passed inspection with no cats with flying colors. 500 bucks well worth it.
To do it properly, you need the o2 sensors relocated behind the main cats. It’s the only way to go. Spacers “work” but its more of a band aid and will still give you CEL’s.
