richi - thanks. great idea! can’t wait to see them. be sure to post pics the moment you get these!

those look like TTRS/RS5 reps. Expensive ones lol. Those wheels are solid, and I like that they’re OEM+. I always wanted a forged RS4 rep that weighed like 18-19 lbs for my B7 S4. Hartmann stopped making them a few years ago unfortunately.

What wheels do you have now?

Car looks awesome as usual. When you do something, you definitely do it right the first time. Ohlins+ADV’s=money

Cell, incredible as always. Such a stunning car. It’s always been one of my faves

i had the bbs chr’s but i got really bored of em and they were 8.5" so i sold em, right now im running the titanium wheels with snows. the reason i really want these is for there OEM+ look, thats always been my thing with moding audis

Thank you, 91 and Joe. Too kind… ;D
richi, i love your philosophy!

that plate would get a brick in the windshield where I’m from lol

^hahah

dolphinB6, clean looking car there! Did you do a film or paint for the tail light tint (and headlights?)?

Cellg8, forgot to mention, your car has brought me so close so many times to doing a full wrap on my car. I really love that color blue and love semi-loud colored cars (as in not glut orange for a DD, but that blue is perfect). Dan’s RS4 has that same appeal, but I can’t even imagine how few DTM’s were that color.

Haha I would cry if I ever came to find my car had gotten messed with. I just play it safe and try not to piss anyone off Haha.

Maddog, I ordered laminex tints and rapped them myself. Wasn’t bad at all came out great.

^cool, I did the same front and rear in the past. Painted now though. The lamin-x is good though, especially if you just take your time and do it right the first time. I had so many people come up and not believe it was lamin-x until they looked really close. Patience pays off though, but I like the paint look 10x more. . .

Yea I know what you mean people don’t even know mine are laminx until I pop the hood or trunk. But had some really cold nights here and the taillight tints started to shrink on me. I’m thinking about possibly having them painted or going back to stock taillight look.

Bitzkrieg was ‘lightning war’, an all out offensive tactic using all forms of infantry, and was made ‘popular’ during the 2nd world war by the Germans…you know…the guys led by the Nazi party and Hitler?

If you drove around in the uk with blitzkrieg on your plate you wouldn’t go a day without someone fucking your car or you up. It would be tantamount to driving around Israel with ‘holocaust’ on your plate or in the southern states ‘lynch-mob’.

Sorry I didn’t mean to offend anyone by it.

Not offended. I’m 40-50 years too young to have war memories…but don’t take your car to britain!

Haha I don’t think I will be anytime soon lol

I did lamin-x on my tails. I F’d up on one and tried to do a repair, and now I need to redo it. Lol

or to teaneck nj…

Yea, that’s the one downside with it, you really only get one good shot b/c once you put it on there for good you can’t really remove and reapply. Also, if you don’t know that it’ll shrink up some after a little while, it’ll look like shit. Just where experience comes in.

I’d half suggest buying the individual sheet rather than the precut design for your car if you’re just having to replace one side.

I tried lamin-x on my A4 tail lights but I couldn’t get it stretched over the corners. Looked weird so I ended up leaving it with just the clear portion tinted. I want to do something like that on the S4 since the red on the tails sticks out like a sore thumb. I think it’s best to just get it done professionally for it to look right.
