Official AudiRevolution.net Users' RS4 Photo Thread

Prob a good idea saki, jump on that (or do we have any moderators that can just edit out and drop it all in a new thread?).

ROFFL! I always hated the fuckers that used that excuse. . . you obviously don’t understand the intricacies of our FSI motor so you shouldn’t be allowed to post here. Now let me have EPL finish tuning my RS4 to create the best tune possible for my Tubi Mufflers!

Joe, still not seeing a black B7 S4. . . half those links didn’t work either.

Here’s a white RS4:

I was actually trying to rig the shot so it would look scaled, but the road was way to hot to lay down on.

Thanks saki - Nope its New South Whales, I live about one and half hours out of Sydney

Thanks. I want to get a camera stabilizer and get a bit more pro with it

I thought Saki was a mod

Nice Car Richi  Love the blacked out grill with the dark blue.

He likes to think he is…so he acts like it

Richi…what are the wheel/tire specs on your car in this pic? i.e. sizes/offsets/spacers?

thanks

Nope. Just God around here.

Odd. How does one act like a mod? Being a moderator (volunteer position) on a forum is kind of a thankless job where you volunteer your time to help someone else make money. It’s funny when you think about it.

Been there, done that.

the wheels were bbs cm’s in a 19"x9.5" rear fitment all around. I forget the offset. no spacers in the rear. 3mm up front to clear the calipers. tires were re11’s 275/35/19 all around

aggressive all around. Thanks.

I think that I’ll go 275 30 19 next time…or just 255 35 19 + 10mm MTM spacers that I have sitting on a shelf in my basement.

No need to explain, I fully understand what a moderator involves. I was just playin’ hence the

I kind of wish I would have went 275/30-19’s instead of 255/35’s. I chickened out when I was buying tires and went with the smaller size. I think you can run the 275’s and the 10mm spacers on stock suspension too. Maybe I’ll sell my practically brand new Michelin SS’s and go buy those 275’s like I should have. :stuck_out_tongue:

i lied… i had to double check AW cus thats the only forum that allows you to have a signature that long lol i was running 275/30/19 not 35

two more shots

^I seriously hate that part. . . It’s ridiculous, the web site format is bad enough, but why do I have to scroll a full page just to see a member’s car in his sig, and then see it again 2 posts lower /rant

Haha, just saw this now. Yeah, I have one of those. Limited edition. I have #136/500. It actually has incredible detail. My gf got it for me (awww :))

are the Michelins on your car? I’ll give you $600 if you’ve driven on them and $800 if they’re fresh.

good stuff

this looks awesome here. The longer lens used compressed the image (front to back) making the RS4 look wide and thick and short and awesome.

http://i911.photobucket.com/albums/ac317/richib86/IMG_0634.jpg

yea it was a good camera but theres also some photoshop at play with that image

has nothing to do with the compression effect of a longer focal length.

Go read about that. It’s pretty cool.

longer lens (longer focal length) will compress things front to back. Wider lens (shorter focal length has the opposite effect. Take a picture of someone with a wide angle lens (like 17mm) , and items close to the front of the lens appear huge compared to things farther away. If you take a portrait using a wide lens, their nose looks huge for example, because it’s closest to the lens.

Use a medium focal length (like say 50mm) and everything looks ‘normal’. Use a longer focal length like say 100mm or 200mm and everything compresses. Makes cars look great though, especially on a slight side angle.

oh man…i’m super jealous of you guys…
