Yes they do exist!
Yup they are 19" forgestar F14s fitted for a B6 S4 (old car), so I added some 20/25 H&R DRAs. The stock dunlops are melted so I have a set of Michilin pilot super sports (going with 265/30/19) ready to be fitted in the spring! Dropping 4lbs per corner with the super sports and the F14s dropped 5lbs per corner so all wheel peel outs all day ;D
that’s awesome. dropping rotating mass is like stealing horsepower. It’s great. I really noticed my JHM lightweight rotors on my B7 S4. It was cool how quickly it revved. Seems silly, but 20lbs off the front wheels rotating was indeed noticeable.
My stock Rs4 wheels are 19x9 like the S5 wheels…but the RS4 wheels only weigh about 26-27 lbs (51 with Conti3 tires ni 255.35). What’d the stock S5 wheels weigh?
2000S4 has an RS4 with 19x10 forgestars in gunmetal that look great. I won’t post a pic here though as this is the S5 thread.
Nice Saki! Im sure ill be hitting up JHM for those light weight rotors as well. I agree, i definitely noticed a difference (quicker acceleration) when I took that 20lbs total of rotational mass off.
Stock S5 wheel and tires are obese at 59lbs! (29lb wheel / 29lb dunlop sport gts)
Forgestars are ~24lbs each ( i weighed each one when i received them )
Pilot super sports 265/30/19 are 25lbs each…I was contimplating conti DWs however the michilin warranty and tire seems much better even though they are 1lb heavier.
But it will have to wait because im throwing on the heavy stock + winters soon

Jeremy clarkson said something similar once because they were just not around. He had never seen one on the roads, just the press car.
The ‘story’ I heard from a family friend who owned an Audi dealer was the following
- 5-6 years ago, Audi went to the dealer networks and said ‘we’re thinking of making a coupe…what kind of interest do you think you would have from your customer base?’
- all the dealers lowballed as coupes tend to be a disaster in a recession (impractical…usually the third car)
- Audi decided that while interest was muted, there would be enough, so they moved forward with design etc.
- Audi allocated very small production capacity to the S5 on its lines…this is all planned WAY in advance
- Audi showed the car to the dealer network and the public and it was an absolute STUNNER
- orders went insane
- production couldn’t keep up
- cars were sold at a premium
It was just a great situation as far as the mystique of the S5 goes. It was like the R8…people were told 6-8 month wait times etc…but it was all worth it. Now production is more normalized, however Audi being conservative are still a bit behind. Always good to have them wanting more.
I just find it funny that we haven’t seen much of them on here. There are about 4 within 2 blocks of my building, and I see many more every day. I’ll see an S4 every once in a while and an RS4 every couple months.
On Audizine all I ever see on the S5 forums are nonstop pictures and posts on what wheels to get. That and the latest LOLtrain on how fast the stock S5 is from a guy who just picked it up a couple weeks ago arguing against people who have B8 S4’s and modded S5s.
Over here it’s all secret squirrel, and the only thing we have to go by is the header car. I’m just suprised it took this long to get a pick of an S5 when they look so good.

What do you guys think on the calipers, red (is overdone), yellow, or sunset orange? I have some red already, however I thinking I should have gone with the porsche yellow
