It’s a disease haha, the good thing is unlike something like an e60 m5, the car will still run albeit not great, when there is something that needs repair or attention. Either a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it, I liked it as I never thought I’d be stranded somewhere in the s6.
Damn e60, if only a few lights were on the check engine Christmas tree, it wouldn’t even run or it was in ultra limp mode.

yup. bought and installed. My OEM one was complete garbage; internal piston was frozen in place letting all the oil just go into the intake. I wouldn’t call it equal quality, but it’s a surprisingly complex part and all pieces seem to be there including O rings. Direct fit, no hassle.
It’s worth testing to see if it works for 50$.
oil separators are a good thing to check when doing the extended maintance. I think too many people over look them.
