I want to say this also. Hunter was so much smarter to keep his build simple. I spent way too muh money! Was it 40k? No, it wasn’t. It was maybe 15k more than what hunter has into his. With that said, with both setups turned up I was significantly faster. But, it still, in my opinion isn’t always worth that extra little bit. Hunters move makes more sense fiscally, no questions asked.
Still doesn’t mean tials suck and will never perform well. They have, ergo, Chris is incorrect/wrong/misinformed/false in his statements.

Did you actually compare your car to hunters? Your referring to when you guys raced and hunter was on the tune made to be lame so he didn’t do any harm to his car? The same tune that you and kurt talked about making sure was made for hunters car so he didn’t do any damage no matter what he did with the car?? The same tune I was there logging when kurt made sure it was lame boosted late and only had low timing and ran fat to keep the car safe… WOW your a real hero :

Fact is you raced your bothers car on a 91 octane tune and it was never the same boost. I have heard the story your bother told 4 different pepople and its been the smae from all 4 your story now is different.

I did speak with Kurt. Hunter and I were running almost identical timing. Boost onset is irrelevant when one waits for the other car to spool. No matter how you pitch this, this has nothing to do with hunters car being crap or insulting Kurt. This has to do with tials not being a joke. I guess it’s a lost cause. Look, I am and have been informed by Kurt on where is tune was, we’ve had tons of talks. He’s probably upset I’m fixing my silver car to keep it. Lost cause I guess here. Always an excuse. I beat hunters car dude, ask him, ask him if it was fair or close, ask him if he would beat me now? I’m surprised the V-box time is so easily written off. What ever, out of respect Justin for you and Kurt , I will withdraw and call an I lose. I hope to see you both in Kalamazoo when the show comes around. Your bother had single digit timing. Max timing at the time was 13deg@6000+. Im sure you were much higher then that. Don’t pull out for the sake of kurt it would be better if he wasn’t involved. Pull out of the conversation becuase your using your Pbox times to compaire your car to two cars that have actually ran at the track and then your quoting a race when YOU KNEW your brothers car was detuned and even still he told everyone that you guys were not that far apart.
YOU also knew that his tune was made to hold off boost till after 4200. I was there with kurt working on getting the boost to come in slow.

According to Jason, when the meth is turned off was around 14 deg at peak. Because its so lean the ecu pulls 10 more deg of timing than with the meth on. Hunter said he would clear it up in the morning. It’s not sad. You guys are correct I don’t have a time slip. Though the v-box is proven, I have no video. It was foolish to quote without all doubt erased. I, however, don’t want to disrespect Kurt, I even told him about this to let him know I apologize.

This was my car and it was a best et of 11.74@124.8 with a 1.88 60ft and best mph of 11.9x at 125.12 with a 1.9x 60ft
