Opinion poll please, got no responses on AZ how lame is that?

So my car is going into the body shop soon for a USP conversion cuz I had a little damage on the driver side and I am going to also paint the chrome around the grills blue like this B6 has… I have a picture of a car that has this done to it but I would also like to see it with a black Audi logo on front cuz I kinda would like to do something a little different and not just copy someone. If someone knows how to photoshop that would be cool. Or if I could just get some thoughts on how you guys think this would look. I would also change the audi logo on the rear to match if I decided to go with it.

this is my car and the damage, the bracket for the headlight broke so hoping I can go to the Euro look as well. What are thoughts on that? and what are thoughts on doing some eyelids like this Audi has I kinda like them.

And here is the car I would kinda like to mock so to speak…

I love the idea. Eyelids are hard to pull off but I think if you go with the black audi rings and eliminate the chrome it will really set off the car well. Maybe try a test of going black and not doing the same body color on the trim.

The only other thing I would suggest is changing the light bulbs in the fogs. Getting even a knock off HID light really matches the driver lights and blends in on the car.

I definitely wouldn’t put on the badge that guy used (not that you were thinking of it)

I would try the black surround on the front grill. I think the black looks amazing.

Here is my plans and maybe you get an idea from them haha.

I’m going to paint the grille surrounds and possibly the rings the same color as the un painted lowers (cause I need to respray them). I also am looking at getting a usp lower and making that in painted look as well.

I know I’m going to get flack, but I don’t like to really conform to the normality. I love to be kinda unique.

Is your fender also damaged or does the headlight not fit cause the housing got messed up as you described?

My opinion would be too black out the grill surrounds and possibly get different headlights like some S4 or E-Codes if you could swing it. I made the switch from A4 Xenons to S4 Bi-Xenons and I’m really happy about it. I hated the chrome look of the A4 housings.

I’ve never liked the look of “eyelids” for headlights and always thought they looked “chinky”

I like the blackout grill idea, it will really pop out with that colour… eyelids are a bit iffy. The best way to do eyelids is a boser hood, but that’s a bit pricey… I dunno, you can give it a try, they look like they might work in this application.

motorsports, your unpainted idea sounds really cool, definitely wanna see pics when it’s done. I have unpainted lowers myself and am hesitant to paint them, they are awesome to not have to worry scratches as opposed to painted ones, lol.

yes the fender is damaged, the bracket on the headlight is what broke so I assumed they would replace the whole headlight assembly. The fender liner is also damaged and so is my underbelly cover thing cuz it was damaged in the accident then it snowed and the snow piled up on it cuz it was hanging down and got ripped to shreds.

Hmmm sounds like you might want to invest in a metal skidplate as well. I had to do that myself last winter due to snow ripping off my stock one

I have the thor one myself, mbgt72 made a really cool custom one that covers up a lot more of the underside of the car.
