Hi guys I have a P1057 on a 2011 Audi S6. Had a mechanic say it’s possibly a CMP sensor but there is very little material/reference for this engine. Is anyone able to assist ?
Exhaust Camshaft valve, passenger side to replace.
Yes generally before you swap anything swap the sensors from one bank to the other. See if the error follows. You’ll then know the sensor is bad.
I’m not very mechanically inclined. Don’t see any videos of taking/swapping sensors on YouTube or anything.
Anyone able to find a video or something I can reference?
It’s not the sensor, it’s the valve close to the firewall, the one the closer to the exhaust, passenger side (except for RHD…)
Also on your other question, decatted or headers will probably have to be custom. I haven’t found anything online nor heard anything on my post about high flow cats Several have had the whole system custom made. JHM used to do custom headers but last I heard they were really pricey and they stopped making them.
