P1057 Error Code Assistance

Hey guys, have a problem and I really don’t want to go to the stealershit with this issue. Received this code and the car runs like it’s in limp mode. Any thoughts on how to fix this? I cannot find anything online aside from saying it could be a faulty connection. If anyone has a picture one where to look, that would be awesome.

Here is the scan for the issue from the VAGCOM.

Thanks.

Check out number 5 on this diagram. The one in question in your case is on bank one (passenger side in the US) towards the back of the valve cover. The connector might have backed off a bit or is somehow damaged. The part number in question is 06E109257J.

Thanks… I will check it tomorrow.

Let us know after you check it. Also there is a sensor on the side kinda of the head where the clip is red from what I remember you might want to look at that one as well.

Also if you have a vag com if you clear the codes do they come right back…
