Pictures of upgraded shift forks for t45 and 3650

I had mentioned to cv in a pm the shift forks my brother makes to upgrade the t45, tr3650, and t56 which are ford manual transmissions… Stopped at his shop this morning and snapped these so I figured I’d share as I wanted cv to see them… It’s the 1-2 and 3-4 for the t45 and I think a 1-2 for the tr3650… The stock ones are cast and break with decent hp and hard launches… No one was making good replacements so my brother took it on a several years ago… He’s sold a lot of them and No one has been able to break these yet and some big hp cars running them… He also makes a bunch of other tranny parts as well…

Pretty cool. Any pics of the stock parts or assembly pics? It’d be cool to see the contrast. Those look beefy though.

What material is that? Looks like some type of tool steel maybe? Or is that Aluminum?

Maddog, Thanks! I stopped again today and grabbed some more pics… I’m in the office now so I’ll post tonight… I grabbed some of the stock ones, the shift plates he makes, and the assembly…

B6JoeS4, It is Hokatrol aluminum, it’s a german material… It’s way way stonger than the casting and a few ounces lighter even though they are bigger… Like I mentioned I took some more pics so I’ll post later… He makes tons of other car stuff, like EGR delete kits for Mustangs, heal toe pedal extensions for mustangs, shifter extensions for mustangs(they move the shifter further back for tall people), more tranny parts, few things for the rear ends, etc. We’d like to do more Audi stuff but time is the factor as he has two young sons and plus the business primarily makes cutting and forming dies for some large corporations… Small shop but does a lot of business… We’re always open to helping others and any creative ideas…

Very cool. Wish I had access to stuff like that. Would have to be fun to mess around with! Look forward to seeing more pics and even other parts he does.

Here are some more pics… Stock forks, shit plates he makes and the assembly… I’ll get some of his other parts next week…

This is great I’m a huge mustang guy and I didn’t know about these. They look real good. CV is the man to talk to as he is close friends with Craig liberty. They built several dog box audi transmissions together.
