posting pictures

I’ve seen a few members mention that there having issues posting pictures

Here are a few tips

1 check the picture size. To keep The site running at top speed we have the picture sizes set at the max needs of the members. So if the picture is real big you might have to compress the picture

2 Picture file name. Change the file name of your picture prior to loading it on the site. If the title has more then one period or too many characters the file may have issues loading.

I want to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. At this time were working to make video and picture upload as easy as possible.

Thanks again guys for all your picture additions and support. I’m working to make The site better and better everyday.

Please feel free to post any issues in either loading pictures or video in this post. I really want to make sure we keep the site updated and easy to use

pictures in the ‘uploaded albums’ are great, but we’re having a small problem with pictures in the threads.

The forum software is automatically re-sizing pictures to a MAX width of 640 pixels. That’s only about half the screen width, so that’s not ideal especially when everyone has monitors that can handle bigger and when many pictures of technical stuff will be illegible at that size.

Ideally, something like a 1200 pixel maximum width would be great, with the ability to click on the picture to expand it to full size. Not sure if this is posssible

Here’s a great example…we were sharing logs but nobody could read them on the screen.

Here’s an image for example

As you can see the site shrinks the image quite a bit.

If you click the link of the image location here…it’s quite a bit bigger

^ You can’t read that pic saki? Geez, you must be getting old if your eyes are that bad!

J/k, I think that would a really nice feature and agreed that a slightly bigger default size would be nice.
