Powershifting

LOL. Yeah. There should be a jump in HP/TQ at 5400 too, but there isnt. I have fixed a lot of things since the first dyno, so it really has little value now.

Just solved two of my problems, and improved the shifting at the same time!
Turns out the clutch position switch I was using was completing the circuit was being completed when the clutch was pushed in, when it was supposed to be doing the opposite. I took the switch apart and modified the tabs so that the circuit connects when the clutch is out, instead of when it is in. Result: After two year of revs between shifts, it is finally GONE! And the bucking is gone too.

Car shifts between gears MUCH smoother now, especially at WOT. Can’t wait to get some new 0-60 numbers, but we are in the middle of a snow storm. My previous 0-60 was about 5.9s, without any rollout. I found out that all the magazines that do 0-60 measure with a 1 ft rollout, which saves about 0.3 seconds on the 0-60. So, hopefully I can get some low 5s now that this is fixed.

How are you measuring 0-60?

I was using Bosch Light em Up on my Ipod touch (previous runs). Today, I tried an old Gtech pro I have, but it doesnt want to come out of staging.

If you want to meet up somewhere near you one night, we could do a few runs if you know a good place. I can’t get enough of the 4.1 that you posted on youtube.
