**PRICE DROP**2009 Black/Black V8 S5 AUTO

I can’t believe I am actually doing this, but it’s time to list my baby. I just don’t have the time to really enjoy her any more, and with an upcoming wedding, money is becoming tight. If you have found this ad, I’m sure you know the car. I have a ton of pics of the car but for some reason could not attach them to the ad. I would be happy to send anyone as many pics as they’d like to see.

Up for your consideration is a black on black 2009 Audi S5 with a 6-speed automatic trans and approximately 47,135 miles. The 2009 came equipped with a 354HP 4.2 Liter FSI V8, which, with the emergence of Audi’s blown V6 platform, is now becoming more and more rare. The car has a clean carfax, has never been in an accident of any kind, and has been babied and serviced at The Audi Exchange of Highland Park in Illinois. The exchange has all paperwork and documentation to prove how this car has been loved and cared for. I’d rate the exterior of the car a 9.5 due to minor (when I say minor, I mean minor) scratches on the rear bumper and I would rate the interior a 9.5 as well simply based on the minor wear to the drivers side seat bolster. If you would like pics of the two minor blemishes just email a request to the address below or send a pm. This car is immaculate and needs nothing except for a new owner.

Other than the tints, blacked out tails/rims, and removed badges, the car is bone stock and totally unmolested. There are currently 47,135 miles on the clock as she sits today. The car is an automatic. The car will come with 2 sets of wheels/tires. The stock 19” OEM S5 wheels that have been powder-coated in black and are wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT255/35/ZR19 with about 70% tread remaining. The winter setup consists of an 18” set of black replica S5 rims wrapped in Michelin X-ice Xi2 XL 225/45R/18 with 80% tread remaining.

This car was loaded to the gills from the dealer. The car has EVERY standard spec option plus $850 Carbon Fiber inlays and extra options listed below:

-Distance Pacing Cruise Control–$2,100
-14 speaker Bang-Olufsen system–$850
-6 Speed Auto Trans–$1,300
-Reverse Sensing System–$2,200
-Mode-Select Transmission–$1,300
-Navigation System–$2,390

These alone total over $10k in options. You won’t find a more loaded V8 S5 in better shape than this one. More pictures available upon request, however I feel as though I have done an honest job of detailing the condition of the car. My apologies but the forum would not allow me to post pics! I have a bunch that are ready to be emailed!! Direct any and all inquiries to Todd at 847-280-4984 or I can be emailed at Nockwurst3@gmail.com as well. Asking $36,995 for everything. Car is located in Chicago, Il. Thanks for looking!

Guys this baby is MINT and ready for a new owner. Why the lack of interest? Feedback is welcomed!!

Probably not a lot if people looking for a 40k s5 on a very very small Audi forum. I got no hits on my car from the forums either. Craigslist would be your best route. Sold 2 cars that way and after wasting $100 twice on autotrader ads, I’m convinced its useless as well. Used audis are hard to sell private party when they are expensive. Think about it, the majority if guys looking for a 2009 s5 with a 40k budget probably aren’t looking on the forums.

I would recommend posting pictures

Maybe also see if your dealer will get the car CPO’d.

Are you buying another new car? At 40k the tax you won’t pay because of the trade might equal the difference of selling private party vs trading in

This is my best friends car. He is practically my brother. We drove it home together new off the lot. Let’s face it, I would NEVER buy one of these cars without a clutch lol. I told him Id post it up for him and see what happens. Although this forum is small, it’s the best audi forum in existence. The collective knowledge here is second to none. Thanks for the replies guys. If anyone has any questions or offers don’t hesitate to holler!

PS I couldn’t post pics for some reason, the forum wouldn’t upload them. If anyone wants pics I have a bunch just ready to be emailed out!!!

Check out some pics of the car on the CL ad. More pics available via email anytime!!!

Your first post in this thread says ‘I can’t believe I am doing this, I am selling my baby’

Not’ this is my friend’ s car’.

Misleading but he just copy/pasted the CL ad, should have said that in the beginning though, or quoted the post.

Wow, your friend needs to check his rating system. 9.5 on the interior? I’ve never seen wear on the driver bolster like that so bad on a relatively low mileage car. Same thing with scratches on the bumper…the car is not representative of a “9.5” in my book.

Buy hey, I’m not in the market and just passing through. GLWS.

Guys my apologies to everyone. I did copy/paste the craigslist ad directly. I didn’t realize it would upset you all so much. I can remove the ad if it’s creating issues within the forum or breaking any rules. Again, my apologies. My intent was to help my friend and also help a fellow audi lover find a nice car.

As far as the bolster is concerned, a one thru ten rating is always going to be subjective. That’s why there are PICTURES FOR YOU TO LOOK AT to decide for yourself how bad the actual wear is. For a car with close to 50k miles, I would hardly say the bolster is “so bad.”

It is what it is and it’s not mine so im not gonna be insulted either way.

Just dropped the price by 4grand. Maybe that will help some people get over the bolster wear.

lol

Don’t sweat it. Just seemed weird and I thought I was having deja vu.
