Contract sent in and deposit placed.

Probably gonna keep to 20 cars. $200 per person with good track prep.

E63 AMG S, RS7, Jeep Cherokee SRT8 Twin turbo confirmed.

Pete and his pops car probably going too.

Will be a bunch of other 9 second Mopar guys going (jeep friends).

I also PM’d dude in Maryland with one of the nearby JHM S/C RS4s (930chas). Will try and see if Flying Tomatoes would like to join.

ATCO would be sooooo awesome on a rental since you can tell the water box guy to fuck off…or at least have one lane only if people really want water. I tried to tell them that last time, everyone on street tires and they kept the water flowing in both lanes

they’ll probably charge a spectator fee. No big deal, but bring some cash.

p.s. $200? wow. That’s commitment. Even if they charge $3000 that means only 15 cars. WTF? You should be able to get 40 cars out to an event like that pretty easily. I would have thought more like $75-100 max.

The guy organizing is spending extra money ($600) on more track prep. Total was $4k I believe for the day with extra prep.

A few 9 sec jeeps going from his group of buddies.

He also wants to keep amt of cars to 20.

Should be fun regardless. We spend $300-400 for the roll racing events here so $200 isn’t too bad for whole day of uninterrupted and virtually no wait runs. Pete is probably bringing a trailer. That clutch will finally go.

Honestly the clutch hasn’t slipped once and I have about 65-70 launches on it but I don’t know with an event like this I might get really excited and blow it up lol

the good news is that the things that kill clutches, aka high rpm launches, don’t really work, so you shouldn’t be incented to do it.
