He needs to stop posting pretend dynos lol
Here is what I find odd in the B5 S4 environment. Nothing this guy is breaking is new to anyone. A true intelligent individual learns from others to advance him or her self faster. I’d make the case that isn’t happening here. This seems to be one man with no ability to learn from past failures of others. Blowing up motors to be no faster then most above average B5 S4 cars of the past should be an embarrassment not an achievement.
As for the solenoid excuse. That is more poor understanding on how the solenoid even works. What’s more likely true is. The kit wss too lazy in the low RPM range, too much nitrous was used and the motor blew
The first engine was called a temporary motor only after failure. He is calling the failures temporary engines because he wants people to think that he expected them to blow.
I believe so as well
what was his quartermile time again? 11.7 @ 132? His car/build/time is the most celebrated time I’ve seen in the B5 scene in a long time.
It’s funny but this video shows early stage GT kit development days at VAST back before smartphones existed and when W was still the bomber in chief. This time was run with some hideous driving. Other than the RS6r time from JHM, is the B5 making any progress?

not sure that’s accurate…he called it a temp motor months ago right here on AR
Hey guys,
Just want to say that I never said my nitrous solenoid stuck open… I may have randomly thrown it out somewhere in conversation? I dunno. But considering it worked just fine when tested after that I don’t have any reason or evidence that it actually did.
The first “temp” as I called it motor was an early APB block. Sure people speculate about where things break but I like to do my own R&D on things.
See I’ve been designing this:

It’s a Bedplate for the 2.7 V6 to strengthen the bottom end and make it no longer any kind of weak point.
As mentioned it will be going in my 3.0 build when the block gets machined for it…
Here it is on my office floor waiting for that:

So I like to do my own R&D on things… sorry if that upsets some people lol
Oh and the 6766 turbo was replaced with a 6466 after I found the turbine wheel had been damaged at some point in time… possibly before the track visit I don’t know. I’m not going to make that any kind of excuse though because I have no way of knowing if it was ok then or not.
The short story is the 6466 is a much better turbo and is what I wanted anyway before the 6766 landed on my lap.
The 6466 is faster than the 6766 was with nitrous… so I don’t know if I’ll ever need the nitrous for antilag with it.
Here’s a video of the 6466 with no nitrous during some highway testing.

Anyway I mentioned it elsewhere but I am throwing a new “temp” motor in this weekend to make the Pittsburgh Classic next weekend… the 3.0 is behind schedule and I don’t want to miss the event.
Cheers!
wha’ts a pittsburgh classic?
It’s a VW/Audi track day at Pittsburgh Raceway Park drag strip. The same place I went before!
Cool. Wish we could have something like that here. Everyone’s abitch scared to run their car.
They’re either scared they will break, or they are scared they will be slow. It’s annoying. Everytime we try to get a big group together, we end up wit the same 6 guys lol.
Remind me again where you are at?
Canada
Not in Canada, but I’m one of those guilty people. I’m always afraid I’ll break something. Too damn expensive to fix.
on your bone stock RS4?
Most of the guys I’m referring to are driving heavily modified cars or really old cars.
My stock RS4 has about 70 passes at the strip and who knows how many elsewhere. Handles it nicely.
Yup…on my bone stock RS4. At least until I get more hands on with this thing maintenance/knowledge wise. I have only put approx 12k miles on this car and I have had it about 5 years.
One of these days I’ll grow a pair and push the car a bit.
I also think it’s funny that they all worship the britishturbo guy’s car on there. Didn’t he go 11.7 @ 131 and then blow up the car making him start over with a new engine? Maybe I am mistaken…

NON public video LMFAO post all the vidoes the other s4 was spraying a 120shot on bigger turbos there is not one video on the planet of another s4 beating me nore will there ever be so i dont care bring any s4 this weekend to detroit and ill race it
Why don’t you bring your s4 to detroit this weekend and race the clock?
…or don’t and keep being a fucking twat.
Your so full of hot air it’s ridiculous, you don’t have one proven time…just street races…can you at least make some shake down passes…everyone knows you’ll need them and if you think your gonna break 10s on your first run in years…your even more dense than I thought.
Everyone needs to calm down and quit calling Adam out, especially when you either have no car at all or one that is stock. He will go when the car is ready I’m sure.
I agree with euro and saki - if he’s willing to race other cars, why not the clock? Which would be (a) safer and (b) more informative. It’s not like he lives a millions miles away from a track.
