Car has 2.8 manifolds. Which are far from Dogshit. You say this from personal experience right? Not just from internet speculation? :slight_smile:

Lag is partly because his wastegate has far too small a spring in it, 10 psi, and the rest is because of turbo size.

The FT car was full weight with one driver about 170lbs or so.
The car I was driving has AC removed, had a back seat full of heads and shit of mine lol, plus my 185 lbs and the camera guy who was I’m guessing around 180 as well?

So all in all I’m guessing the STK car was 200 to 300 lbs heavier.

FT car has stock 2.7 engine.
STK car has 2.7 stock bottom end with stokc 2.8 heads, rs4 intake, rs4 throttle body.

FAW’s car is (power wise) more then capable of a low 12 sec pass at much higher mph… and who goes to the track for only one pass? I’m willing to bet he went faster and has that on video.

His power was made on a dyno…how does that work out for EPL/Tial guys?

Personally I went bottom 12’s a bunch of times and high 11’s once on my 605 setup that was ideally sub-par in the tuning dept (maxxed MAF, not ideal TQ mgmt settings, uber weak WGDC, etc, etc). I dyno’d my car once at the very beginning (maybe 5 revisions in) to make sure it was somewhat safe to drive (didn’t have an AFR gauge at that time) but would have done it again to see where I am at with the car since I’ve gone to the same dyno over and over again with the car since it was on K03’s.

The Tial turbos ARE capable regardless what you and your lemming brother sakimano believe. I have no doubt in my mind that I would have been able to reach a mid-high 11 second time on pump gas no meth with my 605 setup with a few essential changes for breathing and tuning had I been given the chance with the car gods.

As euroswagr said all a dyno proves is that ink sticks to paper. We’ve seen countless 12-13 second epl/amd cars who dyno 500-600 whp. Who the fuck cares about a dyno. Especially one posted by one of the forum world’s biggest pranksters.

I know where you are coming from… but I don’t agree with the “Who the fuck cares about a dyno” part.
A dyno is a very very good tool when used correctly.
If it wasn’t then my Pro Stock customers wouldn’t engine dyno all their engine changes many times over to see what will work the best at the track on sunday in front of the world… i think they know what they are doing lol.
In fact many many of my customers all have dynos and use them for checking things.

Now one thing to bear in mind is that you have to test on the same dyno… you can’t compare dynos without the same baseline on each one to know how they truly compare.

But to suggest dynos are useless is very narrow minded of you.
