R8 really needs the swan arm. I’d say that wings are now pretty mainstream. BMW, Viper, Camaro, Ford, etc. offering them as standard equipment on track focused models.

The lower suspension is a JRZ touring kit. Rounded it out with some suspension parts (arms, monoballs) from Tarrett engineering. Rides like it’s on rails and is completely glued to the road. The car is 2800 pounds with no fuel.

Rented this today for my commute. Nice but I sort of wanted to take a nap while driving it. Brake felt like a block of wood. Engine is quick around town and turbo spooly tastic on the highway. Car is whisper quiet and safe/steady cruising up to 100 MPH.
MB C63 motor is a lot better. Not in love with any of these turbo V6 so far, Macan included. M3 motor pulls nice but power delivery is lumpy with DSC/MDM on, and it sounds like shit from outside the car.
I think I’d rather have an RS3 maybe. Or like a Tesla Model 3.

as for that S5…looks REAAAALLLY slab sided. Maybe that’s from living with an RS4 and a Tesla for a while but there’s no shape to that car.

They look like a smaller version of the BMW M6 grancoupe. The proportions are correct.
