depends. They are basically mufflers…sound limiters of a sort.
If they are straight through design, they shouldn’t inhibit performance. If they are baffled (very rare) they will.
You are looking at a JHM exhaust that has likely got Sebring mufflers and if I were a betting man, Sebring resonators. Very well designed, straight through, perforated core.

what did swesna do? He was posting about selling his RS4 altogether and buying another car. I took that to mean buying a non-RS4.
nothing happening yet. it was one of those things were someone was potentially going to sell his car. then told me about it and what price he was interested in getting. i thought about it and counter offered. then it turns his wife may not be down with the car he was thinking about replacing it with. he was suppose to get back to me regarding the decision by wednesday and i sent an email yesterday. all good either way we shall see as he has not gotten back to me. believe me it was not easy for me to sell the jhm but i figured better than sitting in the basement when someone like zach can utilize it now that i have the capristo.
at times it is a tough decision to sell a car you really like therefore i understand if the guy decides not to sell.
but if i do buy this one i will be selling my capristo which i just bought like a week ago. i already have buyers lined up for that.

I had a feeling it was a Glut Orange RS4 for a minute there…
i bailed on that one…but now even my wife says she wish i bought that one instead of my latest venture.
i somewhat regret not buying it because the body was straight. i was going to get a ppi and compression test done on it prior to purchase but then decided not to proceed.
i would like to buy the glut orange they are a little shady though. they sold it to some rich family in westchester ny for their son. the son did not like it and then the dealership in cali bought it back and it is for sale again.
i like the car and if it were closer i would have probably already bought it months ago.

The JHM unit is a great unit. There are several resonators that do impact performance. There are 3 types of resonators. In that the JHM units don’t impact performance.
So the general Answer is Yes they can

no way the resonator jhm has on the exhaust would limit performance
it is rather large
especially when i sit the capristo next to it for comparison
