Dan called me yesterday, but I missed his call. Ill be setting it all up today. I did just get the new tires mounted onto the new wheels. Enkei RPF1 wraped in potenza re-11’s. 11 lb per corner less mass than my last set-up. I need to beat the 11.79s4… just because , no real reason other than people hating the dragstrip.
I forget your current set up but if you’re about to flash the JHM tune and you just added the LW wheels mentioned above you better crush it for us lol. 11’s all motor is my goal and with your current times I don’t think this out of the question for you at all. Beating the fastest B8 with OEM blower would be a nice achievment too and would shut alot of my firends up ;D TSIVAS cough cough. If you can beat the fastest APR S/C’d RS4 I’ll send you a case of your favorite beer.

Call them up. Depending on where you are located you can either go to a shop that is set up with them or you may need a cable to do it from home.

WTF I just talked to Jake yesterday about an update and SAI delete and he said they might have it up in the next month…I’m not complaining, that’s good news!! I see a lot of RS4 1/4 mile records being broken this fall…hopefully

I didn’t call but went to their site and no mention of the RS4 ecu being available. Nothing on their facebook or new products page. Searched for ECU on their site and all that came up were a couple APR tunes. I didn’t realize that JHM sold APR tunes, but I guess they do for models that they haven’t developed their own program for?
Regardless, looking forward to them releasing the product so I can toss my piggies on along with the tune. And during the piggy install might finally get around to installing the solid shift linkage as well.
I have a cable at my house Mistro, in case you want to flash your car at some point. You won’t need to do the cable purchase/core exchange. I dion’t know when it’s officiallly up and running, but should be soon. I should mention I have no idea what to do with it. JHM just sent it to me last year when I was thinking of getting tuned, but the delays have meant it is just gathering dust in my cupboard. Hopefully the process is not too tough and you can decipher the instructions.
I was mentioning this to jnaut because he owns his own shop down in Florida, and I know JHM was wanting to try it on a few beta/shop cars first before posting that it was wide open. Maybe I shouldn’t have said anything lol.
