Thanks Ron, yes DA’s were 200’s first run, 113’s second, -40’s third and around -200 on fourth. I remember checking
after every run… sorry, forgot to post earlier.
Going to be 70 Saturday but I’ll be there… Have had a few rainouts and a cancel because the timing equipment wasn’t working so I’ve only been a couple times… Based on the thread over on vendorzine didn’t think anyone cared, they’re more worried about pics of steaks, dogs, etc.
Nice, where did you post the Porsche times? I would love to see them. My buds bringing over a 2014 Gt3 today, can’t wait to get my paws on it…! Now, they’re posting pet pictures, lmao. Hey, a day at the track is better then any day at work
have you posted about it online? Wonder if anyone gives a shit about acceleration testing there. You’ll probably get lampooned for going to the 1/4 mile. “How dare you…this is a PORSCHE!”
Some real elitists in there similar to the old RS4 forum days. In fact lots of the same people over there lol. They love dynos and polishing their performance cars. They generally are repulsed by the concept of testing the acceleration provided by modifications. They just prefer to show a dyno sheet to someone and say ‘My tune added 40 horsepowers and torques’.
Saki, Yeah, I’m not very well recieved on the Macan forum… lol They think drag racing is bad, tuning, data logging, intake filters, exhaust, etc. lol Couple guys get it but I’ve gotten the typical “you know it’s not a drag race vehcile” stuff… I just chuckle as they are a very elitist and snobby group. It is what it is… It’s a pretty bad ass CUV and I’m enjoying the heck out of it… Focused on the S4 now and will give the Porsche another go in cold weather…
Here you go guys:

Awesome man! Didn’t notice the post over here just saw it on vendorzine! Car is doing very well and that’s a hell of a nice trap on pump… I’ve only run pump a couple times but I think my best trap was 116 maybe 117… DA certainly helped but great stuff either way! You’re single pulley right? Is the car shifting correctly or do you get any hangups between shifts? Any idea what your wheel/tire combo weighs? Sorry, if I missed it… Again, nice job! Ron
What’s up Primetime, correct single pulley and the wheels with tires should weight around 46-47lbs. HRE advertises as FF01’s weight to start at 22lbs each and 255/35/19 Contis are listed at tire rack as 24lbs each. The car had one hang on the 3-4 shift during the 12.038 run but I lifted slightly and put it back down then the rpms jumped and it started to pulled again. No problems before or after that run. Thanks for the compliment and no worries I’m glad you got time to check out the post
