bahhh traitor :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah yeah, I blame Jason lol! He showed, he told ;D Gonna miss that a6 though, especially the room inside and wide body, and of course… That v8 sound.

But hey, I got this for 4500, so im not to sad.

what’s wrong with the engine? Any plans for it (fix, replace)?

that car looks brilliant. Silver B5 always works well. Ride height is perfect.

p.s. Dan’s car hiding in the background, and the grow up just beyond it.

very nice…I think i agree with beem a little bit though haha…

Well you can still have a 3.0L if you go stroker, I may have a spare 3.0L crank soon ;D

the B5 is an awesome car. Some of the B5 retards are not. Just like the B8. Just like the M3. Awesome cars, and a few jackasses who reflect poorly on their cars. At the end of the day a stage III B5 with exhaust and intercoolers and clutch is a seriously badass machine that couldn’t look more sleeper if it tried.

Ask Dan about stage III B5 S4s on K04s…last night in Jay’s old B5, full interior, Dan went 11.6 @ 125 in 85 degree heat like it was nothing.

No doubt, I do really like the B5 especially some of those big hp ones…

I am still tossing up wich S car to get down the road…5 or 6

and top work to dan, any vids of that run Saki

no video, I think they just wanted to see what it would run. I was wrong, the K04s are out and RS6 turbos are in. They have some interesting plans, stock motor.

Interesting stuff…

100x true. Its funny because there are a handful of B5 guys that are actually smart and a few of them have gotten on the wrong side of a post in the B6 S4 section. Only to get mad when they get told HEY no one cares for the b5 guys opinion in the B6 Section calm down.

Ive always found it funny that the B5 guys are just like some of the 1.8t guys. So desperately they cling to there platform that they have to go into other platform posts to make sure to force feed there thoughts on people.

Still the B5 has its moments and a great platform to mod. Still to be honest it has just as many weak points in its armor. Case in point. Take the baddest 2.7T and race him in a S/C JHM car in 1st gear its game over for the 2.7T… in most cases.

Regardless of all this. It is great to see what the B5 owners come up with. Rod while you a complete sell out and Im going to drive to CA just to whoop on your B5 we still love you.

Sakimano - Engine had a failed cam tensioner which broke off and did some internal damage, sounded horrible. So just ordered a used/low mileage engine to replace it. Getting new and upgraded parts as well.

Jay’s car is up and running. They did do a shake down run, car has gobs of power its unreal. Just keep your eyes peeled for that car in the future, I see 10’s no doubt.

Funny how much shit I get because I bought this car lol! FFFUUUUU! haha. I have my reasons, didnt really want to get it and have to replace the entire engine but the price was right, had everything already done to it, and took Jay’s advice to get it so I did… oh and I blame Count too. lol ;D luuuuv yoooou.

Justin - I know you love me ;D

Ok. guess ill keep this thread busy to keep you guys happy.

Got it rolled in and up on jackstands, Let the tear town begin

good to see your not like the S5 crowd and not giving us pics…

Great work getting the motor out so quick…

HAHA! Agreed

dude starts a thread at 11 am on Sunday and the motor is hanging from chains before midnight! Nice.

The car looks great! If only the S5 guys were this dedicated.

Step 1: Buy car.
Step 2: Post pics.
Step 3: Rip out engine.

I think most are stuck on step 1, let alone going straight for the heart. At least the B5 thread will get some love now.

Sakimano - HAHA! Yeah I wish I could have done it that quick. Took me actually 12 hours from ground to where it is now, never done one before so it took some time.

Gamebreaker - Thanks, yes the B5 S4 section needed some help

Got the “new” engine. Transfering parts over.
