Roof Rack ON B67 sedan? Kayak?

Thinking about getting a fishing kayak and I’ll need a roof rack of some sort. For my RS4 sedan .

I’m pretty sure A/S/RS are all the same but if I’m wrong please let me know.

Saw this online but not even sure what brand it is or if it’s defunct.

Roof attachment points are the same, go for it!

Skywargone, is that you?

Those look similar to the factory Audi racks. I’ve had the factory racks for 5 years now and they’ve been great, pretty quiet at highway speeds, no rattles.

cost? what would I need to strap a kayak up there…special kayak attachment or something?

I got mine as a gift but $349 USD sounds about right. Might be some cheaper options but these are very solid and they go into the factory roof rack holes. I only use them for carrying snowboards and skis but there are a ton of kayak attachments out there.

Depends how you want to carry it. They have j carriers, wheel rollers, or just strap down like a canoe.

I have 2 sets of yakima j carrier rack attachments collecting dust. Willing to part cheap if you want them. Ditched our kayaks and kept canoe in favor of.

And for the record that is my girlfriends sea foam green cruiser.

Sure it is…

We live in a politically correct and judgement free world now Jupiter. You can ride any color bike you want to.

Haha! Thank you for the reminder!

that thing’s neat but would it work for a kayak? Seems like it would be dragging on the ground.

Not sure but they do list a kayak on their website. SUP’s (stand up paddle boards) are also listed which can be quite long and similar in length to a kayak or canoe.
