In the installation of my downpipes/exhaust last week, my B1S1 o2 sensor died.
I’m getting a CEL for bank one sensor one (passenger side, before catalytic converter) not communicating. I imagine one of 3 things happened:
a. it was damaged during removal/re-connection
b. it was not properly secured and the wire melted on the hot downpipe
c. it just died at that exact moment that my exhaust was installed (highly unlikely)
d. it is just not properly re-connected (highly unlikely but that would be great lol)
So my questions are
- does anyone have one they want to sell me?
- does anyone know the exact part # of that one?
- does anyone know if it is indeed just melted, if the wires can be spliced back together and fixed that way?
- anything else I should know?
